High Dive 6/29 - Seattle - June 12, 2008

For those who were planning to make it to this show to see Carla Bozulich's new band Evangelista, apparently there was an injury during their tour and they had to cancel their remaining June dates. We are still scheduled to play, and will update our website as soon as we know what the new line-up will be. - Katrina

If you live in the Seattle area, we'll be playing as a duo on June 29th at the High Dive with Evangelista. Evangelista is Carla Bozulich's new band and they just released "Hello, Voyager" on Constellation Records. Carla was the former front-woman of The Geraldine Fibbers.

Our latest video featuring two live drummers - May 23, 2008

Howdy folks. We just posted a new video on our Mysapce page from our Tractor show this week. This time we had two drummers and we had a great time. The song is brand new. We also played a live in-studio at KEXP and were interviewed by the DJ who asked pretty interesting questions. If you would like to hear it go to KEXP.org and click "streaming archive." Type in May 18th, 3:00pm to find it. It will be up for two weeks.

Thanks for listening and all your encouragement and kind comments!-Katrina & Michael

Two New Videos Posted on our Myspace Page - November 20, 2007

We have posted two new videos on our Myspace profile for your viewing pleasure.

The first is a little shakey-cam footage taken at our Chop Suey show last Sunday night. In this video, you'll see some clips of Bill Patton performing solo as well as a spooky ghost story told by our bass player, Christopher Howe.

The second is a live video of "Sweet Mouth, Black Heart" by Timothy Benton. The footage was taken from out two shows we played with Low in Seattle and Portland. Timothy is also working on a short ducumentary and music video for Palodine.

Enjoy!

New song posted on our Myspace page - October 18, 2007

"Sweet Mouth, Black Heart" was performed live at the Triple Door in Seattle. The studio version will be on our forthcoming record "Garden of Deceit," due out early next year. This song will be up for a limited time, and will be available for download.

Check it out at www.myspace.com/palodine

Hope you enjoy!

New Record update - October 9, 2007

It's been far too long since we have updated our website. We had an amazing time playing with Low. They are an incredible band, and incredible people. Both the Seattle and Portland show were filmed by Timothy Benton ( http://www.myspace.com/thedarkadaptedeye) who will be compiling a short documentary, live footage and music video for our upcoming release.

For those who haven't been keeping up with our Myspace Blog, we have completely finished tracking, mixing, and mastering our next release. We have handed over the master to Tarnished Records, who will begin manufacturing and promoting in preperation for a January 29th release date. The release is titled "Garden Of Deceit," and we are very happy with the results that came from working with Desmond Shea on the mix (Desmond has also worked with such noteworthy acts as Diamanda Galas, Tarnation, Paula Frazer, Steve Von Till, and Einsturzende Neubauten).

We'll try to do a better job at keeping this site up to date. Thanks to all who have written us with kind words. Your appreciation for what we are doing keeps a fire lit under our collective asses.

Myspace Problems resolved - July 27, 2007

It appears that the folks at Myspace support have been able to reactivate and save our profile with all of our friends intact. What a relief! - Kat

Myspace Problems - July 26, 2007

Today we received a message that our Myspace account had been phished, and that we needed to change our password. About an hour later, our entire account had been deleted. We are currently waiting for Myspace to reply back to our email asking when and if we can recover our profile (and our friends).

Jason Brooks has left Palodine - July 16, 2007

Jason Brooks has officially left Palodine. For those concerned, we parted on good terms. He has purchased a house in Portland with his fiance (can I say that?) and is moving on with his life, aspirations, etc. He was a great person to do music with, and added a lot to the project. We will miss him, but are happy for him and his future.

Replacing Jason for live shows will be Christoper Howe on bass guitar (yes, we now have two Christophers, for those keeping count). Christopher performed with us at our most recent show at the Sunset Tavern in Seattle, and I must say it is really nice to have someone filling out that bottom end. As soon as we finish with this record, we'll start playing out again. Look for us in September. We'll have new band photos up soon.

Contest for our next record - July 1, 2007

The fine folks at Tarnished Records have offered to give away 25 free copies of our follow-up record, which is due out later this year. If you are on our mailing list, you are automatically signed up for the contest. The drawing will be made by a random selection sometime in September.

Recording update - June 18, 2007

We have finished tracking about five songs and just brought in special guest vocalist, Bill Patton. You might recognize Bill from his past work with Katrina in Blackwood Hymnal. Check out his supreme solo act Bill Patton & The Credentials (www.myspace.com/billpatton). He's got a voice like butter.

Back in the studio - June 1, 2007

We are excited to finally have our own website up and running. To catch you up to speed, we are currently in the studio working on our follow-up record to Desolate Son. Desmond Shea (Tarnation, Paula Frazer, Court & Sparke) will be mixing the record, and we are planning to release it later on this year through Tarnished Records.
